Kuma II is a character from the Tekken series. He is the son of Kuma I and made his debut in Tekken 3. He has the intelligence of an average, perhaps slightly dim human being, although this is obviously amazingly intelligent for a bear.

BiographyEdit

A ferocious bear who uses a variation of the Heihachi Mishima style of karate. He is more than a mere pet to Heihachi, and stands as sort of a partner with him. When Jin was in control of the Mishima Zaibatsu, Kuma rescued the company in Heihachi's stead. He has also sat on the Mishima Zaibatsu's board of directors.

AppearanceEdit

Kuma was in the Tekken games a very tall bear standing at 9'3 tall but in Street Fighter X Tekken, Kuma's height stands at 7'10 tall.

PersonalityEdit

StoryEdit

BackgroundEdit

The first Kuma died of old age during its travels with Heihachi. Its child, also named Kuma, became Heihachi's second pet. This Kuma is smarter than its father, and a good bodyguard for Heihachi. Kuma is in love with Panda, but she neither shares his feelings nor has any interest in him.

Tekken 3Edit

One day while watching TV, Kuma suddenly went wild at the sight of a martial artist with a scarlet go-gi, Paul Phoenix. Kuma has trained since that day to defeat Paul in battle, and entered the King of Iron Fist Tournament 3. When Paul was victorious, Kuma realized that that he had lost touch with his animal instincts. He realized that as long as he remained Heihachi's pet, he would be unable to use his instincts to his advantage, so Kuma trained alone in the mountains to regain his power.

Tekken 4Edit

Life in the wilderness was was much more harder then any training of Heihachi's, but Kuma continued his brutal regimen, but he still enjoyed going to a near-by village to watch TV through the villagers' windows. After 2 years, Kuma saw a commercial announcing the King of Iron Fist Tournament 4, and Kuma headed towards the tournament determinded to defeat Paul. Kuma finally defeated Paul during the tournament; however, Heihachi was dead.

Tekken 5Edit

Kuma was lost without Heihachi, then he learned that the Mishima Zaibatsu was in chaos. Kuma decided that he had to save the Zaibatsu, but by the time Kuma reached their headquarters, someone had already taken control. Kuma was forced back into the mountains. Kuma entered the King of Iron Fist Tounament 5 for the Heihachi and the Zaibatsu. Xiaoyu fought Kuma during the tournament to try to make Kuma get over his crush on Panda. Kuma then had a rematch with Paul, and just barely lost. When Kuma got to the headquarters, he found the Zaibatsu's new leader, Jin Kazama. After being defeated by Jin, Kuma was dumped out of a helicopter into the Hokkaido wilderness.

Tekken 6Edit

Kuma survived and traversed the vast forests heading for the Mishima Zaibatsu headquarters again, determinded to beat Jin and take his rightful place and the successor of the Zaibatsu.
